We’re reaching out to invite you to be part of something truly special –NIPANC’s PedalThePeriphery 2025.

The event is just over 3 weeks away and we’re currently looking for volunteers to help at our checkpoints over the weekend of 6–8 June 2025 – and at the Event Brief on the evening of the 5th June at Wallace High School, Lisburn.
With over 22 teams already signed up (a huge jump from last year!), this year’s ride is going to be bigger and better than ever – and we need your help to make it all happen!
What’s involved?
Our checkpoints are scattered across the route, and serve as important rest and refuel stops for cyclists, helping us to paint the route purple. Volunteers will help create a welcoming, supportive atmosphere – and we promise you don’t need to be there all day. Even giving an hour or two of your time would make a real difference!
If you don’t have time to help out at the checkpoints, even dropping off some baked goods would make a big difference. Anything big or small would help enormously
Each checkpoint already has a nominated NIPANC Checkpoint Champion so this is just some additional support to help.
Some of the new things this year include:
All checkpoints have indoor spaces available
Live music and lights at selected stops, thanks to DJ Ali Brown
tea and coffee, and home baked treats to be provided at each checkpoint
Sports massage support at downhill beach and finish line (courtesy of Nikki Edgar)
New NIPANC flags and t-shirts to help you feel part of the team
At this stage we can only predict when riders will be passing through each checkpoint, this will be further refined the closer we get to the event. Over the weekend the event is live tracked which gives minute by minute progress of teams/riders and so much more accurate.
