We are incredibly grateful to have been presented with a cheque for £10,000 by the organisers of the 'Amble for Audrey' event which took place in Portadown Peoples Park on May 24th in memory of Audrey Cander.
Audrey Cander, sadly lost her life to pancreatic cancer on December 23rd, 2021. This has left a huge void in her family and unfortunately her sister Irene also died from the disease on July 4th, 2021 - just 5 months previous to Audrey.
Audrey was a loving wife of Tim, devoted mother of Matthew and Tom, dear daughter of May, and beloved sister of Anne.
Five of Audrey’s close friends arranged the fundraiser in her honour and walked 54 laps of the People’s Park, Portadown on what would’ve been her 54th birthday.
